Why People Should Try Volleyball

In the past, when I was a kid, I haven’t discovered my sport yet. My father told me to try basketball so I gave it a shot, at first I thought it would be easy to play basketball, but it turned around that it was a difficult sport for me since I was having trouble shooting the ball on the basket. So I tried a little bit harder but then I realized that basketball isn’t really my sport. Then while watching my sister playing Volleyball, my mind was focused on how she plays it. So I gave it a shot and I noticed that I was really good at it.
For starters, when its your first time to play Volleyball, you may find it quite difficult to keep the ball in the air since you need the right position of your arms and proper angle. It may bounce off in the wrong direction if the angle of your arm is not the direction you want it to go to.
Second, when you practice it, you catching skills will improve and you will feel more comfortable doing it. Volleyball may sometimes hurt when catching it because of the material its made of, rubber is the most comfortable material to use. Some boys that might say that when you play Volleyball your gay, don’t listen to them, it is said that military soldiers were the first people to play Volleyball.
The third reason why people should play Volleyball is that its a great sport and its like your already exercising because Volleyball requires speed, thinking fast, and strength. If you keep on practicing, you will notice that your great at it. It may take time for starters to learn Volleyball but if they listen carefully, they will learn it quickly.
Volleyball isn’t just sports for girls, its also for boys. Sometimes when you think a sport like Volleyball is kinda hard to play, at least give it a try, who knows, the sport that you think is hard for you to play with is the sport that you were born to play with.

Why People Should Travel Around the World

 

Many people from around the world love to travel to other countries. I , too, am fond of going around the world whether it be locally or internationally. I started to travel to other places, particularly outside the Philippines, at the age of 8 when my family went to Hong Kong. We celebrated my birthday there along with my mother’s friends and batchmates. Getting to experience this fruitful thing for over the last 4 years has taught me of a way to tell you why everyone should get a chance to travel around the world.

First, you must be ready to go away from home and that you should not be always reminded of your own home. When traveling around countries, you should be able to experience their own culture as if you are living there.

Second, you are always given a chance to learn many things and facts about that particular place. Try to look at your surroundings when taking a walk, try to see how intriguing the place is, try to feel atmosphere around you. Doing these things will very much help you while traversing around the country.

Lastly, don’t forget to have serious fun! Ask any of your friends or relatives to go around the place to have fun. Obviously, I don’t think there is a country that doesn’t get to experience fun. While staying at a hotel (if you are), relax and don’t forget to talk with your friends or family  or whoever you are with.

On top of everything, I think that learning many things is a must considering that you may not be able to go back to that country for a while (or maybe, even never!). Learning stuff is always going to be, or should be, the top priority. And of course, enjoy the trip with your loved ones!

          Soda has long been a part of celebrations, parties, and in our everyday lives. It’s no surprise many people drinking it everywhere. You see youngsters drinking it in any season and in every situation. What makes softdrinks so appealing?                                                                                    

          These softdrinks come in different containers, from bottles to cans, in a great variety of attractive colors and labels. They attract the eyes of consumers to taste them. Once you get a taste of it, it will leave you wanting more. People claim that it quenches thirst and removes aftertastes of food they have consumed especially oily ones. There are those who say that it helps ease stomach pain caused by indigestion.

 

          Not few but many people are aware that these bottled beauties hide a nasty surprise. We do not take the harm that it does to our bodies seriously, just like smoking. They know drinking softdrinks is bad, but they still keep on doing it. People who have sweet tooth usually drink soda to satisfy their cravings. In the process, they get hooked. Due to the caffeine and high sugar content, young children become hyperactive and restless. Not only that, but soda also causes hyperacidity which could lead to ulcer.

 

          Soda’s bad for you. You should drink water, fresh fruit juices, and shakes, which are much better for your body. In this way, those who are wanting for sweets can still get their sugar fix without compromising their health. Do you want to live a healthy life? The choice is yours.

                Students like me nowadays are already sick of studying. Some saying they already had enough of school that they just want to enjoy their teenage lives. Some just taking a pass to attend the everyday important days of lives. Some even dropping out of school to show their protest against education. Now I tell you, you should pursue to finish and to graduate from school. To tell you the truth, that shouldn't be your primary goal, to graduate and to finish Elementary and High school are just milestones for your true objective. Your true objective should be to be able to graduate and finish from college specializing in a certain course, a course that would be able to sustain your needs and also the needs of others and that would able to build a  greater nation of the Philippines. Why do you even need to study? Here are some reasons why.

                First of all, in the future, I know we will all have families, people that would depend on us. How will be able to attend to their needs if even we haven't been able to finish our schooling days? How will you be able to make these people happy and safe under your care? How will you tell them that they should be successful in life if even you yourself haven't been successful? That is why we should be able to finish education, it is because we will be the ones that will soon be replacing our parents and we will now be taking on their responsibilities.

                Second, we will also be the leaders of our country. The best of the people should be the leaders of this country. They will be the one who will drive our country to prosperity. Who would ever want someone who will drive their own economy down? We would all want someone who will make our country prosper and be the best of the best when the time comes.

 

                Third, Without education, you will have a hard time to prosper. People who didn't study and wasn't able to finish their days with the school aren't one of the most successful people of their days. Many people today are part of the Lower Class of the Philippine Economy because for their lack of education. But even so, let them be an inspiration for us to finish our education, because without then today, our economy will drop and the physical labor force of the Philippines will be depleted and gone

                Now that you have heard some of the reasons why you should study and finish your education to the highest level. Would you now want to be someone who is successful, someone that your family would be proud of, someone that your nation will be proud of or would you still want to be someone not recognized by the country and the ones that are unsuccessful?

Why people should know their history.

 I observed that most people these days are not concerned or eager to learn about history. Most people are unaware of why we have cars, airplanes, peace throughout most of the world and how some of our common household items like salt were a fortune in the old times. Splendid ideas and a lot of things about us are slowly being forgotten by the people which is why people have to know their history to take care and preserve our history in all parts of the world.
History may be a little foggy or sometimes frustrating to learn, but focusing on one specific topic like Julius Caesar’s conquests of Gaul, it makes history more fun and easier to learn. We may have our gadgets now, but books and documents which are handwritten are still valuable and important because people these days use paraphrasing, some details may have been left out and these could be used to trace important happenings or even solve problems in the older times. When people start with one topic, then move to another they may get the feeling of excitement as to what will happen next. Most say history is nothing but old scrolls and papers, but history is a record of who we humans are. It is the story of our world and how it was before our generation. We all know that the world we know today was not built by a single man in a span of a few days. Our world is a world created by thousands or even millions of different people, because in wars each soldier played a part to shape the world we know of today. Their names may have been forgotten but they have already been put into our history, we have all learned about many inventors, scientists and other people such as the Wright Brothers, Albert Einstein and others, but these people have their own stories and their inventions have had their inspirations and we don’t know who or what may have really inspired them to invent and discover things. History isn’t always boring, it tells us who we were and how our world came to be.
People should start learning about history because these are thing that should not be forgotten, especially by us children who want to be successful when we grow up. History is something that we should not forget and just study when needed in school, we should voluntarily study it as we are the ones who will improve history’s greatest inventions. History will inspire people to achieve more and go higher.

Why People Should Play Basketball

When I was just 8 years old. I like to play basketball, I thought it was a rough sport to play. However, when I tried playing this sport, I realized that I am good at it. After a year of regular practice, Basketball became my hobby. I was even chosen to be part of the Basketball Varsity Team of Claret School when I was grade 5. I like this sport because, My dad teach me how to play basketball. If he had time we play together.
First, Playing basketball can be very beneficial for you. First, it can make you healthy and physically fit just like other physical sports. This sport can serve as your exercise and hobby. It helps you improve your speed, stamina and endurance. On top of that, it also makes you more mentally alert. Brain is very important in a game.

Second, it also helps you meet more friends and build meaningful friendships. And because this is played by a team, it develops teamwork among the players. You learn to rely on your teammates and share as well. This sport makes you learn discipline and sportsmanship. Also study because if you play basketball everyday your studies keep away. Study first before playing so you can be a perfect basketball player.
Last, this sport is so fun! This can be a very enjoyable hobby and your daily excercise for you. You can have fun together with your friends or family.
This game can be played by anyone who really desires to play it. As you can see in above you may find a lot of reasons to play it. What else can you ask for? Let’s all play basketball and have a very enjoyable time playing!

“Why Should People Use Facebook?”

Approximately, 400 million people use Facebook nowadays. Social networking, particularly Facebook, is now widely used as a pastime, hobby, or as recreation. Some people think that using Facebook isn’t really advantageous and helpful. But to my way of thinking, there are actually several benefits in being a Facebook user.

Self-confidence. People can gain social confidence from communicating with other people online, which gives them more safety in facing new encounters and situations. For instance, meeting new friends, first day of school, joining organizations or clubs, and many more. Another convenience of using Facebook, is that it helps a person interact with his/her family, relatives, and friends more often. Facebook connects people with their families. Relatives who are far from each other can still keep in touch through video calls. For some, they browse on their old friends and recall on their memories together through chatting. Facebook also allows you to post anything on you wall. You can tell your friends how you feel, and they too are also free to respond on this through commenting. By means of posting, you can also know the latest news of your other friends, latest news in your place, as well as news around the world. One more advantage is that it helps people become well-known with recently developed technologies, furthermore, it helps people to proliferate their media literacy by being exposed to varying kinds of virtual media which are shared by their friends.

As I see it, social networking will be a greater benefit in our lives. Everyone will be interacting and be more confident of themselves. The world will soon be connected and will help destroy the boundaries of humanity.
